Ways to make your blogsite look suuuuuper cooool

Please see the list below to find out loads of different ways you can present your work on blogger. Let me know if there is anything you want to do, but can't access here, and I will ask IT to unblock it.

Credit to Andy Wallis, Teacher of Media (check out his presentations on Slideshare) for coming up with this list.

This has some essential reading on it and, although we will be using it class and I will be giving you a task related to this very soon. However, there is plenty of stuff related to all areas of the course including valuable case studies.

Advice from OCR - please read

Hello,

Make sure all of you look at the following link. It is the examining board's FAQ for the course. It is a short read for each brief but perhaps will answer any questions you have so you do not have to wait for a lesson to clarify any questions OR make any errors that end up in you wasting time unnecessarily.

Thanks

Mr Welch

Help for video based briefs

Attention anyone doing the video based briefs. You will find this website useful. It has a range of downloads of template forms that you can use to plan and research your portfolio work.

Some of them are perhaps a little unnecessary but there is certainly plenty to use!

More sound effects information...

More sound effects information...

Don't forget that we now have all of the BBC's sound effects catalogue available on the video drive on the office Mac.

Could be particularly useful when editing film if the sound you have is not reliable or if you wish to add some diegetic or non-diegetic sounds.

Plenty of ambient sounds too such as cars passing, train station noise etc..

So, if you need the sound of an earwig playing a harp then speak to Rob!
